| About PCOS The Personal Computer Operating Shell (PCOS) is a GUI-based shell for use atop most versions of DOS, including Caldera's DR-DOS, IBM's PC-DOS, Microsoft's MS-DOS, and FreeDOS. PCOS is not your typical OS shell- if you're thinking DOSSHELL think again! :) Although it is in fact a shell, PCOS is designed to interact with your computer's hardware on a fundamental level, providing features and functionality above and beyond most typical shell prgrams. |
